A pretty balanced six minute video from CNN on the nature and extent of the Obama-Ayers relationship. As I think I’ve said pretty much from the start, to me this issue is almost more note-worthy for the light that it sheds on Chicago politics than for what it says about Obama. In 1997 Ayers was the Chicago Citizen of the Year.
Citizen of the Year in Chicago, but clearly outside the politics of mainstream America.
