Oh, St. Louis. Whatever happened to the classic mirthmaking that’s usually involved with New Years Eve? You know, moderately priced domestic non-vintage champagne?
Apparently the police department in St. Louis doesn’t feel that Darwin is sufficiently efficient. Thus, they’ve got a long running yearly campaign reminding residents not to fire guns into the air on New Years Eve. The campaign is at least ten years old and it still doesn’t seem to have solved the problem.
